Sa Buem Nim (SBN) Les has studied and practised different disciplines of the traditional Oriental martial arts since 1972, which include: Wado Ryu (Japanese Karate), Wing Chun (Chinese Kung Fu) and Kendo (Japanese Sword). Pu Sa Buem Nim (PSBN) Martin first started martial arts training in Kuk Sool Won in 2000, and was appointed an Instructor at the Martial Arts Centre-Eastbourne in 2005. He enjoys teaching beginning students the fundamentals of martial arts training and watching them develop their skills, as they progress through the comprehensive Kuk Sool Syllabus.

As a teenager, Kyo Sa Nim (KSN) Stuart studied Shotokan (Japanese Karate) for several years, then after a break from training, in 2003, decided he wanted to do “something new” and discovered the traditional Korean Martial Art of Kuk Sool Won. After several years of training and single-minded commitment, KSN Stuart achieved his 1st Degree Black Belt in 2008 and in 2009, he was appointed as an Instructor at the Martial Arts Centre - Eastbourne.

Kyo Sa Nim (KSN) Elizabeth originally studied Wing Chun (Chinese Kung Fu) for two years, but in 2005, she discovered Kuk Sool Won, and has practiced the art ever since. In 2010, her many years of training saw her gain her 1st Degree Black Belt at the European Championships in Kings Lynn, Norfolk. In 2011, JKN Liz was appointed as an Instructor at the Martial Arts Centre-Eastbourne.

Kyo Sa Nim (KSN) Noah started Kuk Sool Won at the age of 5, and is now in his 9th year of training at the Martial Arts Centre – Eastbourne. He achieved the rank of 1st Degree Black Belt in 2010, and is now the youngest member of the centre’s Instructor team.

During his martial arts journey, JKN Noah has won 22 gold medals at International Kuk Sool events, including world titles in the USA.
